The Bürgerwiese ("Citizens’ Meadow") is a popular place for local recreation. Especially on warm days, it serves not only as a play and sports area, but also as a popular place for young and old to have a picnic or a barbecue.

Ball sports aficionados of every age are sure to enjoy their time on the Bürgerwiese. There are basketball hoops, a volleyball court and a cageball facility here. And they’re rounded of by fitness equipment.

On the large play area, a large climbing structure and a slide leading down from a hill invite children to have adventures. A sand dredger, a climbing wall that’s designed in the form of an egg, as well as seesaws and rotating elements are all waiting to be conquered by big and small children. And, of course, it wouldn’t be a playground without swings.

Next to the lawn, there are seating groups and rows of stones that invite you to rest and linger a while. The large lawn also offers plenty of space for a picnic. Barbecue areas round off what’s on offer here.

And there’s even a toilet on site.
