Events in the old town
There are various events in Monheim's old town throughout the summer.
Fleamarket for women
On Thursday, March 20, female treasure hunters will get their money's worth in the old town. Between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., the "Weiber-Kneipen-Trödel" offers the opportunity to look around for beautiful second-hand or almost new clothes, accessories and other favorite items. Around 300 stalls can be found in the pubs and restaurants of the old town. While you browse with your girls, you can enjoy drinks and food from the restaurants, bistros and cafés. Outside on Alter Markt, a DJ will set the party mood.
The proceeds from the stall fees will be donated to Breast Cancer Aid Germany.
After work event in the old town
Come to the after-work party in the old town and enjoy your evening. Between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., the restaurants will have special offers on their outdoor terraces and a DJ will set the right tunes for that after-work feeling.

Inkeepers' festival
On Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12, the old town restaurants invite you to the innkeepers' festival. On Friday evening, you can end your day with live music at the bar “Spielmann” on the terrace and enjoy an Aperol spritz or a beer fresh from the tap. A DJ will play until 1:00 a.m. to keep the party going. On Saturday, the Marienburggarde bathtub race starts at 1:00 p.m. Various teams will compete against each other with self-built vehicles until 5:00 p.m. There will again be live music at the Zollhäuschen on Zollstraße. Afterwards, a DJ will once again provide dance beats until 1:00 a.m.
Spring awakening
On Saturday, April 12, spring will be welcomed to the old town. From 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., a DJ will be playing relaxed music at the bronze model on Turmstraße. The old town restaurants will be offering light spring cuisine and matching drinks.
On Saturday, May 17, the old town restaurants will be hosting a party. A DJ will play at the Bronzemodel on Turmstraße and get you in the party mood between 5:00 and 10:00 p.m.. A selection of drinks and snacks from nearby restaurants, bistros, beer gardens, cafés and pubs will be on hand.
