A new cinema in Monheim am Rhein

The new Emotion multiplex cinema in the Monheimer Tor offers all cinema fans in Monheim Mitte a unique experience. Cutting-edge technology awaits visitors in six different cinema auditoriums with a very individual design. Let the movie begin!

Cinema for everyone: the youngest ones and the whole family

In addition to the current program, the cinema also offers special film series for all ages and preferences. This also includes a movie program for the very youngest. For these events, the lights are dimmed, the volume is intentionally lowered for young visitors and the films have a rather short running time. Older children and families also have plenty to discover. And how about enjoying a movie together in the intergenerational cinema - including coffee and cake? The grandparents are sure to enjoy it too.

Special screenings

For all grown-up cinema fans, there are specials such as the “Vino Kino” with a wine tasting along the movie, the Ladies Night with film premieres especially for women or Art in the Cinema, focusing on the life and work of selected artists. Sparkling wine and pretzels are also served for this event.  

Other highlights include live broadcasts of operas, concerts and theater performances.

Accessibility

You can easily reach the cinema by elevator. The cinema itself is at ground level and wheelchair spaces are available in every cinema auditorium.

Free parking

For up to three hours you can park for free in the underground parking garage of the Rathauscenter and in the parking garage of the Monheimer Tor.
