Water play facility at the Holzweg shopping street in Baumberg

The newly created play paradise with a large water and mud facility is located in the green corridor at Holzweg-Passage, the shopping arcade in the Baumberg district. Here, water flows from several high steps and barrages made of natural stone via a mill wheel into a small basin. From there, the water can be transported one level up again using an Archimedean screw.

Play areas for younger and older children

The playground also has two play areas for younger and older children. The play area for toddlers under the age of three has a playhouse with two levels, a small slide, a sand crane, a seesaw animal and a balancing pole.

Older children can look forward to a climbing facility with a ropeway, a double swing and a very special attraction: a real tree house with a giant tree growing out of it.

Boules and an inclusive sound game

Anyone wanting to play a game of boules can do so on the nearby boules court.

There’s also a sound game in the green area near the Holzweg shopping street that can be tried out by children with poor eyesight.

Seating areas, drinking fountains and bicycle racks

Numerous seating areas, bicycle stands and a city fountain with free drinking water area also available.
