Water playgrounds and city fountains are ready for winter
Please note: The water playgrounds in the city are being made winter-proof. This means that the water will be turned off so that splashing and playing is only possible in rain puddles. The water playgrounds will then be brought out of hibernation again in April 2025.
This also applies to the city's fountains and drinking fountains. The water will be turned off here too. Only the drinking fountains at the eel fishing boat Aalschokker and in the Rheinpark will continue to run until the end of the fall vacations.
