Exhibition at Sojus 7: Dates, opening hours and admission

From March 17 to April 11, 2025, interested parties can visit a traveling exhibition by the Anne Frank Zentrum Berlin and the Anne Frank House Amsterdam as part of the International Weeks against Racism at Sojus 7 on Kapellenstraße in Monheim. In cooperation with Sojus 7, the Ulla Hahn House is showing an exhibition that deals with the life of the Jewish girl Anne Frank during the Nazi era.

Child-friendly exhibition

The exhibition highlights topics such as flight, anti-Semitism and life in hiding in a child-friendly way. Visitors can learn more about Anne Frank's life during the Second World War and her passion for books and writing. The exhibition is open Monday to Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Scenic reading from “Anne Frank und der Baum” (Anne Frank and the tree) for children and families

A special highlight awaits children and families on Friday, March 21, at 4:30 p.m.: Theater Löwenherz will perform a staged reading from “Anne Frank und der Baum”. The chestnut tree that watched Anne Frank in hiding from the window will tell its story. After the reading, visitors can view the exhibition. Admission is free of charge. Workshop with exhibition visit for school classes

School classes in grades 4 to 6 at Monheim schools can also book a 90-minute visit to the exhibition, including a workshop.
