Easter with the Romans: Helau, you Romans and rogues

Nature is awakening and attracts visitors to the freshly blossoming meadow landscape of the Urdenbacher Kämpe. In the middle of the nature reserve with its great cycling and hiking trails is Haus Bürgel. The old Roman fort is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and, in addition to the museum, also invites visitors to stop by the biological station. Horse-drawn carriage rides through the countryside are also possible.
Also in Baumberg and equally suitable for good and bad weather is the Eel Fishing Museum, housed in an old fishing boat. Here you can learn lots of new things on and below deck. Cast off!
In the district of Monheim you can visit the Rogue's Tower, the Carnival Museum and the quaint old town. For all technology fans, you can also get there from Monheim Mitte by taking a ride on one of the A01 buses that shuttle autonomously between the old town and the city center. Hop on now and ride into the future!

In Monheim Mitte, there is an entire playground as a work of art, with wildly curved benches and lanterns - and a water feature too. Who can manage to stay dry in the fountains that rise and fall on the Eierplatz? And will mom and dad or the grandparents simply relax and enjoy watching from the restaurants right next to the square? Or will they venture into the cool water too? Who can discover the most shapes and figures in the Points of View by Tony Cragg? In the Marienburgpark there are sound fountains in which you can immerse your head and senses. And on the banks of the Rhine there is the spectacular Monheim Geyser - perhaps the most photographed natural artwork of recent years - and the Leda by Professor Markus Lüpertz.
