Yes There No Where  Robert Wilson

American theater director and artist Robert Wilson has created a multi-part work of art in the middle of the park of Marienburg manor. Against the backdrop of the historic manor, visitors move through a fairytale-like setting of sculpture, architecture, light, text and music. The mysterious little house in the meadow and the three imaginative sound wells invite children and adults alike to explore the work with all their senses.

Wilson uses the figures of the goose girl and her goose from the city’s logo in a surprising and surreal way to create a link to Monheim am Rhein. With the poetic texts written and set to music especially for the work by the author Ulla Hahn, we also encounter a familiar Monheim voice.

The installation was created as part of the sound art exhibition The Sound – Sonic Art in Public Spaces der Monheim Triennale 2023.
